My first visit here to this lovely Theatre. We watched "An Empty Stage" production and the four actors involved were superb. The Theatre is small and cosy inside and it was nice to see lots of people enjoying the play. I loved it. It was a cold evening so we had tea/coffee/hot chocolate pre ordered for the interval and the drinks were ready and waiting, perfect timing, when we came out. Lovely staff. Loved the bell which was rung to ensure everyone took their seats in good time. This Theatre is definitely worth a visit. There is a parking area, or if full, on street parking. We will be returning.

A Christmas treat for my 11 year old daughter. Our 1st visit to this theatre, although my eldest daughter volunteers here. We loved the show. Amazing quality for such a small theatre. The seats are teared so everyone has a good view. I would say to avoid the back row as the seats have no backs so aren't as comfortable as elsewhere in the audience. The people were all very friendly. We will be back and I would recommend this theatre.

I've been coming to this lovely little theatre for a few years now with different friends and family members.
It's such a cosy theatre, we really love coming here.
There are only about 20 rows with 10 seats in every row apart from the front row, where there are 8 seats to make room for wheelchairs users. Also at the back it gets a bit smaller.
I've sat at the front a few times and it's like sitting in your living room at home, really intimate.
We have sat in row E a couple of times but when we were listening to a rock band we found it was a bit loud in that row but surprisingly not as loud at the front.
It's such a lovely theatre, the staff are really helpful and friendly.
There is a bar with tables and chairs.
There is a free car park outside or if it's full there is plenty of parking on the side streets.
The ticket prices are the cheapest I have found as well.
A real hidden gem. It's well worth a visit.

I've been to see Blackadder and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest here and both times we've all had a brilliant time. It's a lovely little theatre, the character and atmosphere is brilliant and I would 100% recommend!

My first visit to the Seagul Theatre was to a charity dance show for students in the local high school and sixth form college. I had heard of the theatre on a number of occasions but had never visited it.
It was extraordinary to come across this place tucked away down a road amongst houses, but the building inside and out does not disappoint as a beautiful building full of character. The intimate stage and seating really allows you to feel apart of the performance.
The staff at the theatre are brilliant, more than happy to help and chat about the building and the work that is carried out there. Considering this is voluntary run makes it even more special and a place like this should be supported for years to come.

My most recent visit was to see the Vicar of Dibley production, already faved by "the0d0ra" below. It was very true to the original TV series and the rep company were as polished as one should reasonably expect, with some outstanding performances The vicar was perhaps more like Dawn French than she herself is, but without caricature. We really enjoyed this last visit but have been before over many years. They did quite a few of the Fawlty Towers series and I think the Vicar of Dibley will return in the same way.
The smallish theatre in a former Victorian school in Pakefield seems an unusual place but is well appointed, with good seating providing a fairly intimate setting and with a bar serving a fair variety of drinks including local beers and usual soft drinks. There's a good view from virtually every seat in the tiered auditorium.
I have never been disappointed with this venue, which attracts surprisingly good visiting productions and musicians too. In my opinion, worth supporting and usually a rewarding evening.

Great concert by wonderful artistes. Theatre cosy. Little room 'front of house' but volunteer staff more than helpful but the lack of space leads to close interaction with fellow visitors adding to the the friendly atmosphere of a local, provincial, theatre.
