On the face of it this is a small yet pretty park which is to be found on the Prom. at Lytham but there's so much in it. Apart from the cafe and theatre there's also a children's play area, tennis courts, bowling green, exotic...More

These gardens are tidy rather than beautiful. The main problem with the site is a lack of relief except for the slight slope rising through the rose garden at the north end of the park. Unfortunately, the rest of the planting is rather plain and...More

I've walked around Lowther Gardens most weeks for the last 18 months since my mother moved to a nearby care home, and I have loved the park (as has she). The centre is wide and spacious with really well-kept bowling greens, while round the edges...More

Beautiful home cooked food. A credit to Robert and Co in beautiful settings. The prawn open sandwich is a,ways my favourite. The finest produce is served in a location that is second to none. It's always busy and that always says something. The bake well...More

Nice park with bowling green, small play park for young children, nice little rose garden, mature trees, pebble clock and a pretty pond with a statue and some very large fish! There were no budgies in the aviary when we visited.

Walked through here on the way back from walking the Prom. Well maintained flower beds and no rubbish lying about. Loved the pond with the Mussel fisherman statue in it. Will definitely come and have a sit and leisurely walk round next time we visit...More

lovely to sit and people watch, watch the world go by, sit in tranquility, enjoy the splendour of the colours of the flora, be mesmerised by the water falling 'shrimper', watch the bowlers or just picnic.

This is the most beautiful garden with a play area and cafe near by. Don't forget to go into the theatre also as the programme is varied for all ages.

Really nice down-to-earth venue putting on some remarkable artists. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Mike Garson in such an intimate setting.

As I live in Blackpool Lowther Gardens is one of our favourite places we go on a sunny day. We love to watch the squirrels that run from the woods along the tree branches-then under the tables-near the cafe. No doubt looking for food. Lowther Gardens is popular with locals as well as visitors-there are toilets inside the building on the car park-which is also the entrance to the theatre-box office-& the popular cafe. Another entrance to the cafe is round the other side on the green where you will also find the ice cream window. Across the main road is Lytham Green & the sea front. There’s plenty of shops if you want to wander round them-carry on past Lowther Gardens which would be on your left-turn left down any of the side streets & you’ll come to the shops-it’s a lovely place-ideal for a browse round especially on a dry sunny day-or even just a dry day! Hope this helps
