A good place to visit any time of year.The Spring is particularly good with its snowdrop walk.The hall itself has guided tours.There is a lovely kitchen garden and beehives.for a rest visit the excellent tea rooms.Dog and people friendly.

Good food very pleasant environment. Nice gardens lots of volunteers busy in lovely vegetable garden. Couldnt go into hall except in a planned timed group £6. would have been good just to be able to look around inside the hall on our own.Secondhand books for...More

Visited today and was impressed with the beautiful Hall and grounds. The tea room was perfect with great food. There were a lot of people in the tea room, and some with well behaved dogs, which added to the experience. There are also outside seats...More

Unfortunately we arrived too late for the guided tour but from what we did see the hall looked very interesting and they have a lovely cafe serving cakes and snacks

Wonderful Hall set in beautiful parkland. We toured the ground floor of the hall where they were doing open day with people dressed in period costumes. Grounds are nice and they are doing a lot of work to improve them and tend to mismanaged woodland....More
