    A fantastic birthday treat!
If I could give this place and experience 6 stars I would. We came here for my Dad's birthday last week and I have never seen him so happy. Jenny in driving experiences made us all feel so special and took amazing care of us and James was expert in his instruction. Whilst an objectively expensive experience, the professionalism, energy and enthusiasm of the team (especially Jenny) made it all worth it and I would recommend it to anyone. If possible, I would especially recommend going on a weekday as the place was particularly relaxed and calm, but note that some of the exhibits may be closed for corporate events. Really amazing experience and thank you to the team for making my Dad's big birthday!
Hello Joe Thank you for your great review and for sharing your Dad's Birthday driving experience. Really great to hear you were looked after by jenny and James in our Track team :) We will pass on your comments to them and the rest of the team. Best wishes to you and your family. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Regards

Good half day out with kids
Visited during Easter weekend. Pleasantly surprised by the kid friendly activities available (egg hunts, face painting etc), and friendly and helpful staff. Planned to spend an hour and ended up spending almost half a day, and that’s without attempting any of the driving experiences. Look forward to coming back for the actual driving bit!
Thank you for sharing your day out with your family at Mercedes-Benz World. Easter is such a nice time for days out. So glad you and your children found lots to do and see. We look forward to welcoming you back and maybe you could enquire about a passenger ride. One of our driving specialists at the wheel of one of our AMG cars would give you an 2 other passengers a spin around our track. That extra special treat for you and your children. Kind regards

    14th Birthday experience
15 min AMG driving experience for my sons 14th birthday. The professional driver was excellent and showed the car and its engine. Then the driving around the circuit was exhilirating and exciting (according to my son). The car was an absoute beast which was worth £180K. Nearly 600BHP of pure and undulterated power. Was excellent and also viewed the exploded F1 car and experienced the driving simulator (£10). My son was smiling :-). You can buy the onboard video of the experience.
Thank you for choosing to celebrate your Son's 14th Birthday with us at Mercedes-Benz World. A real lads day out by all accounts. Real thrills and spills on track and F1 simulators, can't get better than that. The icing on the Birthday cake! Thank you for sharing your experience and we hope to see you and your family back for more fun soon. Kind regards

Great place to visit for all ages
Such a a great place to visit. Parking available outside the main entrance. It’s free to enter. The staff were friendly and helpful form the minute we walked in the door. They explained the layout and what was on offer. There is a cafe on the ground floor and a restaurant on the top floor. Toilets available nearby. Lifts for pushchairs and wheelchairs too. There is a lot to see and cars with windows down mean you can sit in them which our 4 year old loved. The staff are knowledgeable and great for all to. You can see they love their jobs. We saw the silver arrows on the display circuits outside which were impressive. We would definitely visit again.
Hi Zoe Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience whilst you were visiting us at Mercedes-Benz World . Fantastic to hear that you had a great family day out and even your little one enjoyed sitting in the cars. It would be our pleasure to welcome you all back again and maybe you could visit our Little Learners indoor electric car track. This attrraction is very popular with our 3-5year old visitors as they get the opportunity to drive their very first miniture Mercedes-Benz car and are awarded with their LL driving licence at the end of the session. Sessions are bookable from the main Reception desk, on the right hand side of the entrance at £6 per child. Kind regards

A fabulous day out for all the family.
Took the 3 hour AMG GT experience. Amazing. Simply amazing. The instructor James was fantastic. In fact all of the staff were incredibly professional and friendly. The museum is great too. Highly recommended.

Mercedes Benz World a must for young and old
My Grandson had a marvellous time at Mercedes Benz World for his 16th Birthday he had 3 experiences to try and was able to take his cousin and friend tas passengers. The first was a drive in a Mercedes enjoying the chance to drive a car and to manouver roundabouts etc. The next was a speed trip around a fast course and experiencing a skid pan. The last was a 4x4 drive over a muddy and uneven course through all sorts of hazards. All these experiences were filmed. We went as a family there were 9 of us there was a museum a chance to see many of the cars made by Mercedes including formula 1 cars some you were able to sit in. All the adults and children enjoyed themselves very much and I also must mention how helpful and thoughtful the reception staff were. I wish I had asked the name of the young man who arranged for me to be taken up to the 4x4 platform to watch my grandson complete the course. Also the driver who was very helpful and friendly I was unable to walk as am awaiting a hip replacement. Thank you Mercedes Benz World a true marvellous experience

Great place, brought my granddaughter to the mini racers, she was a bit nervous and played up, a young lad named Denny, took time to come over when he saw, and was amazing with her. He was such a lovely chap and a real asset to Mercedes, all staff she take a leaf out of his book!!

    A fantastic Corporate day out
Recently we visited Mercedes Benz World for a Corporate day and we can't thank the whole team enough from the sales team, to the events coordinating team to the tour and track teams on the day, they were all exceptional with their service, especially John from the tour team who was so lovely and Jasmine from the events coordinating team who was extremely helpful from start to finish! We felt as though everyone went out of their way to be accommodating, even getting free charging for a client’s electric car etc which was really well received. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to host client events!

    Great Day!
Amazing day out. Entrance is free! Amazing display of vehicles including the history of the car I would say you need 1-2 hours to look at the museums depending on how interested in cars you are. There’s a beautiful gallery where you can sit and watch the track! Could have sat here ages watching everyone! Fun racing simulators although these seemed slightly overpriced We did the 4x4 off road experience and the track/skid pan experience. Both fantastic. Can highly recommend. And you can pay to have a passenger in the back!

I bought this visit as a birthday present for my husband. We stayed in the hotel on the same site and both venues were excellent. The museum is well worth a visit to. So much to see and do for a weekend with an excellent and comfy hotel to stay in. You can easily walk to each area from the hotel.

Our family has made numerous visits to Mercedes Benz World and generally it's a great place to visit as an attraction for families, tourists and motoring enthusiasts.

It can be busy on a weekend and the parking spaces are surprisingly tight, but it still feels spacious inside the building.

The Little Racers driving experience for small kids is superb and always very well run.

The reception and museum areas are beautifully maintained and the welcome from staff in these areas is superb - very friendly and helpful.

The downstairs cafe is a bit expensive and sometimes feels disorganised. But it's a nice place to sit with good views of the track. We've never done a driving experience but I'm sure it's great fun having done similar with Porsche at Silverstone.

The one area I've found to be less impressive is the sales room downstairs which I've only visited twice. On both occasions the appeared a little snooty, and asking a simple question about a car seems to almost be an imposition. I've bought a number of Mercedes cars (elsewhere) over the years and generally found a better welcome.

Both daughters (ages 11 + 13) received birthday and Christmas presents of a non-license holder driving experience at MB World, Brooklands. At such young ages being in control of a vehicle was naturally going to be exciting and fun, but I also wanted the experience to be educational and so requested manual transmission instead of automatic vehicles. (They might drive automatics when the time comes, but I like the idea they have as many skills as possible at their disposal when older and the dual controls meant they were always safe).

When told at registration up to two passengers could join in the back seat, this was an added bonus for me and the grandparents. This meant we could silently observe the instructors' tuition and see the girls' progression first hand.

Given the fact neither daughter has ever sat in the drivers seat with the engine running, I was impressed that within an hour their seats and mirrors were adjusted, peddles explained, they were starting and stopping and really getting a 'feel' for the clutch and steering. They even got into 2nd gear, which although does not sound like much, I'm not sure I got into 2nd on my first lesson and I was 17!

Although the gravel area they were learning on was a little uneven, which detracted a little from the confidence building, neither I nor grandparents (with the other daughter) could fault the instructors. Their tuition was extremely well structured and continuously throughout the hour built up skills and confidence. They were most patient, thorough and encouraging, but the girls were never pushed beyond their comfort zone.

If you are looking for fun foremost then automatics are allocated as standard and I expect a youngster would finish a session going a little faster and having covered more maneuvers etc. But if like me you wanted the manual transmission education just ask when booking.

Would I recommend: it is expensive, but it is on private MB World land in a safe environment and the quality of tuition really was excellent, so yes.

(PS. The hot chocolate at the cafe was also very good and it is nice to take a look around the classic exhibits and the show room - for as long as the children will allow that is.)

Just wanted to state how impressed we all were with Mercedes-Benz World. From entrance to exit, we could not of been impressed more. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We went for a surprise birthday for my dad, we got him an hours driving experience of an off road and drive track experience. Certainly got the hours worth. On previous experiences in other places, you may get less time and they include tutorial in the hours slot, but not here, he got the full hour of actual driving and really enjoyed it. We cannot thank the instructor enough, forgot to get his name, but thank you! Overall, I cannot recommend this enough, even if you were just having a look round, you will still be treated well by the friendly staff throughout Mercedes-Benz World.
Thanks all!

Back here after about 5 years and although much has changed around the area, the service and experiences are still brilliant!! I had booked a 4x4 taster for my 15 year old and a starting drive for my 11 year old as a combined birthday present. Arriving in good time, we were met and greeted by a lovely lady as we walked in the door - first impressions do really count and no fault here - very friendly, professional and brilliant! Told us where and when to go, and as we were early, where the cafe and toilets were!!! Everything was spotlessly clean and modern, as to be expected from such a PREMIER business!! Booking in was swift and simple, with my arm twisted by both kids to purchase the usb video of their drives - glad I did in the end!! We were shown out to the first drive, my 11 year old who has never driven before! The Instructor was brilliant - softly spoken with clear and precise instructions and after the first circuit, confidence grew and we managed to navigate the course with no issues!! Having a break before the next drive, we were entertained by the Mercedes Silver Arrows Driving Team - superb on the wet and the dry tracks! Then we were treated to the Mercedes Owners Club, parading many vehicles loving cared for as they went round the track, slowly of course for these classic cars! We then booked my 15 year old into her 4x4 and whilst preparing, we walked over to the viewing point for the 4x4 course. Having experienced driving before, the 15 year old navigated the off road course brilliantly according to her instructor and throughly enjoyed it!! After both drives, we collected the USB drive from the drivers lounge in order to view both inside and outside views of the drives once back home. My only bugbear about this is that Mercedes no longer provide the posh leather enclosed USB drives, only a thin silver one now!! We then walked around the building, checking out and driving the F1 simulators on the 2nd floor, looking at the F1 cars on the 1st floor and swiftly proceeding through the gift shop on the ground floor - you really do get what you pay for so be prepared if little and not so little ones want a souvenir!! TIP, by the main reception as you enter, there is a 'pocket money' selection which are quite reasonable!! Boths kids said they wanted to return so will have to save up that pocket money!!! Massive thanks to EVERYONE at Mercedes Benz World UK!!!

Not knowing what to expect, this complex is well worth a visit of a few hours. Full of historic and current model Mercedes vehicles, there is a short history of Mercedes film to watch before exploring the three levels of the building, full of cars. Outside is a full size driving skid pan (water spray) upon which the general public can book lessons or demonstrations by professional drivers on how to control a vehicle (Mercedes of course) in wet road conditions. Loads of fun too to watch the drivers from the building as they circle the course. There is a good sized cafe to have lunch or snacks at, and a small gift shop.
Plenty of visitor parking outside too.
The building is in immaculate condition, with lots of staff to assist visitors.
