Great people, service and food is great. Pub grub at it's best. Staff could not do enough for you even though it was extremely busy will definitely be back.

I love this pub. We are always made to feel welcome. There is usually a guitarist there playing music on a Sunday lunchtime and the food is homemade and good value for money.

This is one of a dying breed, a family run pub with a fantastic menu and a warm welcome, could not fault the food, cooked to perfection and throw in a wide choice of beers and ales and it's the perfect pub.... Richard & Ellen

I'd had a puncture about 1/2 mile up the road and walked to this pub. The landlady and her daughter were kindness itself and plied me with tea and sympathy while I waited for help. The way they interacted with other customers was equally warm...More

We were made to feel very welcome. Definitely give the chips a try! Large portions of good unfussy pub food.

We came back after it has now been under new management when we saw the food that was being served we decided to eat and how lovely it was too,the chips are outstanding great homemade food. Great family that run the pub, friendly and welcoming....More

Standards have dropped. Rock hard greasy chips triple cooked. Gammon and pineapple soaked in grease. Partial refund given but never again
