Burns night whiskey supper was on 25 Jan 18 at 8.30pm, £5. Pub also ran out of Fireside, again disappointed. 9 ales & 1 cider available. New lager style pilsner type ale available, tried but not for me. Cobs £1, include cheese & onion. Ham....More

Oh, we are sorry the Fireside went down ....I expect it was just what you fancied on a cold Burns Night. Thank you for your comprehensive review.

Tucked away in a side street is this wonderful old fashioned type pub. On entering the door you have to walk down a flight of stairs into the body of the pub where you find a smallish bar with a modest amount of seating. The...More

My friends and i regularly meet at the Lych Gate Tavern prior to going to watch the Wolves match and the pub is always busy as it serves high quality real ales from quality brewers. It is well worth a visit.

I've been coming to this pub every week for almost a year now, and I have to say this is quite easily the best pub in Wolverhampton. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great and the drink prices are very fair. They have a...More

Great pub, friendly staff, excellent selection of regularly changing ales that are well kept. Usually busy whenever we visit but that's to be expected.

This is by far my favourite pub in Wolverhampton. I love the low beams, great ales and friendly bar staff. You don't get many low beamed/traditional pubs anymore in this area, so this is a unique place to relax and sip a tasty pint! I...More

Hayley and Dave often have events of all kinds....mostly in the upstairs bar....but a piano...well, that is worth a thought at our next meeting....thank you for suggesting it.

Loved it. A wonderful oasis of pubby calm. Excellent beer, friendly knowledgable staff, a decent crowd. If they did food it'd be perfect. This is how pubs should be.

That is lovely to hear. We don't do food, but customers are welcome to bring their own and we will supply cutlery, crockery etc.

On my occasional visits to Wolverhampton I always visit this pub. As a real ale drinker to choice of ales is extensive and usually in tip-top condition. Food is basic filled rolls etc. but it's the ale that counts. Can get very busy especially if...More
