Dr. Wilks Hall was originally the Ashford Boys grammar school built in 1635 & named after the sponsor "Norton Knatchbull". No.18 is our Railway section on the ground floor. We cover the history of Ashford Borough from Neolithic to present day.A lot to see and very educational for all ages. All run by volunteers,open from April to the end of October. Free entry.

This is a location well worth a visit, it returns you to Ashford the Market Town. In lovely setting surrounded by a variety of places to eat. Parking an access for wheelchairs in easy an resonable distance

It was surprising as to how much is packed into the museum, it was very interesting, especially the world war 2 and the train sections

What another hidden gem that Ashford has! This museum is fabulous for finding out about our towns history and all free, which is a rare find nowadays!

Amazing hidden small museum located by Ashford Church, which you must visit.Very interesting to see what Old Ashford looked like, and where the bombs fell in the war

Great to see many aspects of the town's heritable. Knowledge of attendant there is good worth a visit, & just a short walk to town centre for snacks & meals. Good parking within short walk from Museum.
