There are lots of galleries in Hay-on-Wye but this was one of the best. Rather too much that attracted the eye and threatened the wallet!

This is always worth looking at, as the eclectic collection of sculpture and paintings contain a wide variety of styles and subject matter. It's not a large place but there's much of interest to see.

We'd been browsing the books in the attached bookshop so decided to stop for re-fuelling. The café was very busy - good soup and burgers of various types. Nice ice cream too. Good service despite the crowds.
