This is a wonderful bookshop - with such character. We enjoyed searching the aisles for little gems. Dog friendly to. The little coffee shop smelt delicious!

This shop is a must visit when visiting Hay. My friend and I really enjoyed leisurely walking up and down the creaky floors looking at the books. The shop also has comfy seating and a cafe so a visit can last a while!

as an allergy sufferer couldnt stay long in this book shop because dog owners used the downstairs middle isle as a walking track.

Perfect combination of amazing bookshop and gorgeous cafe. The cafe is small, doesn’t have a huge menu but it’s a good menu. The service was excellent - very friendly and efficient. Also welcomes nice dogs 😊

A lovely bookshop, well worth a visit. A mixture of old and new books. A great cafe too if you fancy a cuppa. Also comfy arnchairs if you're waiting around or wanting to peruse a book or two.

Like most of the book stores in hay, it is a veritable treasure trove of delights for book lovers. Vast amount of books from the latest items right up to rare bindings, signed copies and extreme rare items, a must visit

This shop has undergone a full restauration. It's a great shop with a wide selection of books. There is also a small cafe.

This is a beautiful bookshop in a lovely and ornate building with a café and is one of the 2 bookshops I would say is a MUST to visit in Hay (together with The Old Cinema). They have a very large collection displayed very professionally....More
