Just walking down the Arm of the harbour on a quiet Sunday morning is so nice. This time of the year you rarely meet other people and your thoughts are your own.

A quaint area, plenty of parking spaces, there is a little beach at the end of the harbour, it’s nice and quiet and some places for refreshments.

Great food and drink outlets Last summer there were live music and a great atmosphere. Large, huge screens showed the football and tennis events. These events were sold out in minutes. Ample parking is available.

Worth visiting for the stunning views, the walk down to the old lighthouse which is now a champagne bar, the street food and micro-restaurants or for the history of the old station and war-time links.

Enjoy visiting here, lots to see whatever season. Love the harbour, especially at low tide. Favourite eating place is Dr Legumes, delicious offering. Enjoy strolling around the harbour and up to the hill.

My first experience with this food was totally wonderful. Great staff, gently reflective atmosphere and great view.As a confirmed meat eater the food was a revelation. I will most certainly return. Coffee was also top notch.

The history of how and why the harbour arm is there and also the marina itself just shows how much we as British fought for our island and how Folkestone has evolved and kept its historic relationship for the benefit of its inhabitants and visitors,...More

No I don't think so but plenty of parking really close and reasonable at £1 an hour for such a great place that is free to enter.
