We played The War Room and it was a brilliant game! Well thought out and enjoyable. The booking process was easy and communication was great. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend and look to visit again if in Scarborough.

Awesome experience with 7 friends. A really well thought out escape room. With just enough help and intervention to keep things moving from the staff. Great narrative and video interludes that immersed us all shoving the puzzles.

We had a fantastic time helping Sherlock Holmes save Teddy Roosevelt. This was a really detailed, very well organised escape room, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. It gave us plenty of challenges, with support when we needed it! Thank you Mr E Rooms, we had a blast.

Me and my friend have been to Scarborough escape rooms a number of times and they never disappoint! All the staff are amazing and guide you through the rooms (if needed!) we will definitely be back for the next Christmas room for another laugh! Couldn’t recommend more! They also have escape room games you can take home and do it in the comfort of your own home which are still just as good!

The owner is very enthusiastic and enthralls you into the experience the second you walk in, quick witty remarks interlaced with instructions you need provide the perfect atmosphere. We went to the room and it looked fantastic, plenty of challenging riddles and clues and hints provided if you get overly stuck but enough lack of involvement from the overwatcher that you feel still immersed but know you won't be abandoned. I've been to a few escape rooms and although the wizarding one wasn't overly challenging it was great fun so myself and the team really really enjoyed it. We'll done guys looking forward to booking in again 👏🏻👏🏻

What a wonderful experience! We went with a couple of friends who had been to escape rooms before but our own lack of experience didn't hamper the enjoyment. We were oblivious to the passage of time as we attempted to solve the clues and appreciated the help we were given to achieve success in the end. The trip proved you're never too old to try something new and exciting. We can imagine our children and grandchildren would find it equally engaging and shall certainly return the next time we're holidaying in Scarborough.

My three children (12-18yrs) and I visited 12/2/24 for our first ever escape room experience. We completed the Sherlock Holmes room and while we needed lots of hints we had a wonderful time. We are now hooked on escape rooms and will definitely be doing more! Thanks to the Mr E Rooms team for making our visit fun and memorable. We hope to be back before too long!

We did the Psychic Escape Room as part of a Hen Weekend and it was amazing! The Gamesmaster was such a natural at storytelling and prepared us well before we were locked in Madame Gazunda's parlour. There was so much attention to detail and the puzzles were challenging but we received support when neccessary. Would love to return and try another Escape Room as it is one of the best I have done! There were 6 of us in total and we escaped with 7 minutes to spare!

Great time in the War room Meet and greet was good very engaging. Escape room itself was well thought out and hints given when needed ! We as a family of 7 really enjoyed it and managed to complete with only minutes to spare !
