Have been here on numerous occasions. Lovely gardens to stroll around. Very peaceful. Shame the local cafe/restaurant The Clock Tower is going down hill as a lot of people frequent there just because they walked threw the gardens.

The gardens are very pretty and well kept but the highlight for me is the cafe with the most enormous cake. During Folk week the stage is used for performances which is brilliant.

A peaceful place, sheltered and with interesting tropical plants just above the prom on the western side of the town. Great for a private read or snooze with clean toilet facilities and the Clock Tower for snacks and drinks.
