Stopped here for an unplanned lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place has clearly been renovated recently and the improvements are impressive. My wife and I both enjoyed our lunch and they will do half price kids portions of anything on the menu. Our 2...More

As it is our local we thought it would be right to give it one more chance but this our 4th meal was terrible. Although the renovations must have cost a fortune it is no longer a cosy village pub but a ghastly gastro pub...More

This beautiful village pub, very quaint and 0ld worlde has a tasty and well balanced menu, something for everyone. The garden is outstanding since the new patio with pontoon lighting for the evening. Staff are friendly and attentive I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing food every time we’ve been. Friendly staff. Community feel. So pleased this is our local! Prices are higher than average, but appropriate for the area! Great on all weathers!

A superb meal. My daughter is on a no carb diet and asked for a plain burger with no bun or fries. This was beautifully presented with a really lovely salad. I had the duck from the menu and it was absolutely gorgeous.

Went off this place under previous management, and had not been totally persuaded by new management/ chef until recently. Calmer, sensible realistic menu offerings all beautifully cooked by a chef who seems to really want to give his customers good-tasting food. I have eaten here...More
