Although most of the snowdrops had gone over there was plenty to see at the garden and the sun shone throughout our visit showing the plants at their best. Hellebores were particularly good. I can recommend the cheese scones too, we caught them straight from...More

A lovely afternoon for taking photographs of the surrounding views and wonderful snowdrops. Nice tea room, excellent soup in a lovely old part of the house. Lovely helpful staff.

My husband and I visited the gardens yesterday and went to the tea room for cake and tea. Once we had sat down I was asked if I was going to feed my 7 week old son as it would offend the elderly visitors. We...More

I was expecting lots of snowdrops. In a few places there is a display but actually I have more in my back garden.

Not having been for years, decided to pop in to see the snowdrops. Unlike other places, such as Angelsey Abbey, there are far fewer varieties, and far, far fewer snowdrops. Perfectly pleasant, just not quite the overwhelming display promised. We're also not quite sure why...More

We went on Feb 14th. The main body of the village hall car park (which is the only car park available) was full so we drove forward to approach the overspill field where other cars were parked only to realise that some of them were...More

This is a private house which opens its garden on various days of the year including February to March for the display of famous snowdrops and other winter flowers. Admission is £5. There is no parking on site so you need to find some elsewhere...More

.. going to see the snowdrops and other winter flowers alone turned out to be a bit of a let down. Not as spectacular as I thought they might be but timing is everything in being able to see a 'complete' display. That said the...More

The gardens are not generally open to the general public. There are special events (like the chilli festival) google the web for their calendar ... (I can't post the link here) I hope this helps.
