Ok range of beers. What bugs me about this place is the inconsistent opening hours. Two Thursdays ago was here till midnight, tonight came in at 2245 to be told was closed. Muppets

Large variety of beers - both in bottles and on tap - standard price per pint. Quite a few wines to chose from and they invested in a machine that allows them to reseal the bottle after taking one or two glass measures out of...More

Probably the best pre-dinner pub in town, great location for a raft of eating place. Lots of beers to chose from, not forgetting ample wine menu all at a reasonable price. Good atmosphere and also a great place to go before ITFC home matches. Home...More

We tried this pub on a Thursday night for a drink and a chat. A nice bar area with plenty of comfy seating with a friendly atmosphere. A good selection of beers served by polite and friendly staff. I recommend and will return.

Nice pub to visit for a few drinks. Good choice of beers. Reasonably priced. Good service and good music. Some outdoor seating. Certainly worth a visit.

How refreshing; a 400 year old pub in the heart of town which doesn't serve food. Makes for a more traditional feel, no likelihood of young families making noise (sorry but it's true!). Very good range of bottled beers, ciders, gins & some high quality...More
