What an Adventure! Cannot speak highly enough of the experience nor of our guide Gaute from Pulpit Rock Experience in Stavanger, Norway. The sheer majesty of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) has to be seen to be believed. The monolithic cliff towers an impressive 604 metres over...More

Gaute, our friendly Norwegian guide was wonderful! Coming off the cruise ship with limited time, we were an extended family of 8 people with very diverse goals for the hike. I'm sure it was like herding cats but Gaute managed to meet all our expectations...More

If it is one thing you need to do during visiting Stavanger, it is to climb the Pulpit Rock. It is not as easy climb as many assume, no paved walkaways here, so have good robust mountain shoes with good grip on a wet, slippery...More

The only way is do see the pulpit rock by boat. Often the cruise ships offer this tour, we’ve done this trip by boat and I can recommend. Have a lovely time
