Read some reviews and was put off visiting this park in the evening. I should have ignored the reviews! This is a lovely park, some areas still being renovated. Lots of water features and paths to follow. Discovered a museum nearby as well. Well worth...More

Lots of green space, a nice cafe and playground for the children. Also a short walk from here (down past the sports pitches) to the small beach area adjacent to Wolffs gate. Here there were lots of locals with children playing in the sand and...More

This park has been renovated. An enormous amount of effort and care into this charming park. Grand trees give it a real feel of calm. Excellent play area for children and a coffee cafe. A gem.

You’ll find enormous trees, quiet ponds, swans, ducks and even herons, if you’re lucky. Good for a walk, a beautiful steep hill in the middle. Fountains, sculpture and a tiny cafe on the upper level, by the University. The park is old and beautiful. Definitely...More

A large park, with a fountain and walking paths. I was surprised at all the flowers. You'll walk through or past it if you're going to the mall or main station. Because it's so big, it was never that crowded. Don't miss it.

Came across by accident, but pleased I did, fantastic fountains, lovely flower beds and very tranquil place to sit and relax whilst exploring Bergen.

Nygardsparken is well worth seeing. It's only a ten minute walk from the city centre. Here, you can find peace on any mild day. You may even bring a picnic basket along, or maybe a volleyball. A favourite spot for students and families on hot...More

Maybe the park is nice however when we visited it a big part of it was under construction. The rest of it? Well, it's green (obviously) with some nice statues and medicore fountains. Good place to kill time when needed, otherwise quite boring.
