This was an excellent experience as it was my birthday and I have not been in a cable car for years. The views from the top are amazing and there is a lovely café. Outside was very windy but sunshine and you could see for...More

If you want the best view of the city and onwards to Sotra and the coast line, Ulriken is the place to go. Nice cafe / restaurant at the summit.

Ulriken was a worthy hike. don't think twice. Just do it. Choose your route/path wisely. There are a few for you to choose.

Our friends went hiking under the rain, we just took the cable up to the cafe. It was nice ride up with a good view. The cafe has glass all around, a great place to chat and enjoy the scenery.

I recommend the 4 hours hike over the fjells to Floyen, hat second vciewpoint of Bergen! The path needs good shoe, and is marked - not recommended in fog or heavy rain.

Ulriken is a must. In clear wether gou can see "everywhere"! I think this is better than Fløyen. Have a lunch there, so nice! We took the bus from citycenter and than e everything was so easy. Try it!

You can get tickets for the bus + cable car just near the Tourist Information Center or in the center itself. It's pricey though, about 3 times the price of the Floyen funicular. The view itself is pretty good, though I don't recommend going in...More

On a clear day or even a semi-clear day which is more likely in Bergen, the trip up Mt. Ulriken by cable car is a pleasant way to spend a few hours. The views of the city and harbor are nice, but similar to lots...More
