Me and my husband really loved the whale exhibiton, it was truly amazing and breathtaking. The rest was kind of... blah. Especially the WW2, it was just long texts and pictures pretty much.

This is the best place for learning about the local history. The viking ship and the whale skeleton is probably their main attractions. You can also visit the castle tower and the caves. Bring the kids

After its renovation, this museum has gotten a "new life", with spacy exhibiton rooms and a nice cafe. The highlight is the excavated Klaastad viking ship, dating back to the 800reds. Lots of history from the viking period, as Toensberg - Norway's oldest city dating...More
