One can only marvel at the creativity expressed by the sculptures in Vigeland Park & Museum in Oslo, Norway. To think that one man's art and talent conceived, designed & sculpted the statues that made up this park reveals much about mankind and the common...More

Just remember to check this park before leaving Oslo. I would rather say that you have to check this park out before checking in to your hotel 😊 Lovely place & perfect to spend some hours there. At least two hours

Nude sculptures in a beautiful park in the middle of Oslo. Every sculpture tell You something about the human beeing. A lot of small tracks in the park makes it nice for taking a walk or even a run. You can also bring your picnic...More

You could spend hours in here, depending how much you wanted to see. Beautiful on a sunny day! There are a couple of cafés if you need refreshments.

Beautiful Park for walkers, joggers, bikers, stroller pushers and people watches. Such an expanse of lawns and paths that it can be crowded and still have quiet corners. The sculpture is somewhat interesting but we enjoyed just being there for a morning.

Gustav Vigeland was unquestionably one of Norway’s most famous sculptors and after his death, his home and its grounds became, thanks to the government of Norway, one of that country’s most visited sites. Dozens of Vigeland’s works, in bronze, granite, and iron, are on permanent...More

The nude statues were well made and rather interesting, but on a hot day (an amazing 86 degrees in early June!), we didn't want to stay long.

Beautifully laid out sculptures along the main axis of the park. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The only downside was the cost of the toilets - 15kr each!

This is a really lovely park with some great scenery with lovely flowerbeds and fountains. It is very big but a lovely place to visit and there are plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy and ice cream or a drink.

The beautiful surroundings are only surpassed by the range and diversity of sculptures that fill the park. The gardens are verdant and well-maintained, but dealing with busloads of tourists can detract from the beauty of the art and the serenity of the surroundings.
