Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great place for relaxing, cooling off and dining. Swimming facilities are top rate and all with superb vistas around the body of water.
Greenery is present. And afterwards there is a fine choice of restaurants to enjoy lunch or dinner. We had a delicious lunch in the grand Seaport.

This is amazing. There are several areas for different levels of swimmer - a child-friendly but, a more open water bit, and a lane-swimming section. Also several diving boards. Lifeguards are very on-the-ball and quick to put a stop to any unacceptable behaviour. It feels very safe and relaxed, full of happy people.

The word "pool" is too pretentious for that. It is a pit on the seashore where the sea enters freely. Nothing special.

The newly-built Sørenga district is located along Oslo's long Havnepromenaden. It offers cafes, restaurants, and nice outdoor areas along the water's edge.
Sørenga Sjøbad is open to the public all year round. In winter you can do ice swimming and after that warm up in a sauna.
On hot summer days, I can imagine the place being crowded with people. It has so nice views.
The large sea bath has an open pool, beach, children's pool, and diving tower.

The water is really nice and clean, it’s great to be able to cool down on hot summer days here. It gets crowded very early and it’s not a place for shy people. However, it’s a great place to do some serious people watching as you’ll see all kinds of body shapes and sizes and it’s fun to marvel over all the different and interesting tattoos!
If you’re looking for a quiet place to read a book, this is probably not where you want to go; it seems like everybody is bringing their own mini speakers and it can get quite loud at times.
There are life guards on duty and the water is safe with no under water currents.
All in all a very nice place to cool off before heading to one of the many restaurants on Sørenga.

If you are lucky enough to be in Oslo on a warm summer day, pay a visit to Soerenga public pool! It is actually not a pool, but an open sea bath, with facilities for old people, young people, children and disabled people all in one place. There are comfortable daybeds, benches and chairs that you can use for free, and, as in all public beaches in Norway, there are yellow bouys marking a no-go zone for boats. When you have dried off, there are many nice restaurants and bars where you can quench your thirst and have anything from a great little snack to a full dinner. Prices are not cheap, but the total experience is worth it.

I stumbled upon this, but, unfortunately did not have my swim suit with me. I’ll be back with with swim gear next time. It was a cool day, but 18 Celsius in the water. There were some kids swimming in the shallow water at the beach. I’ve heard that this bathing area can get quite busy on hot summer days.

I love to spend time here every summer. This place is packed with locals every summer with a great swim. last summer it was way to hot here in oslo so I then were here to cool of almost everyday for a swim. I would recommend everyone to come here to relax by the pool and a swim in the ocean. They have all you could need here with great restaurants and grocery stores.

Perfect for a quick evening or morning swim. Tends to be a lot of people in summer time, so also good for people watching.

During summer this place is awesome for sunbathing and swimming. Be aware that there might be many many people and a bit
‘Show off’-ish.
But great space in the city Of Oslo and there are places for coffe and food nearby.
