Very nice Museum to visit if you are interested in the history of Norwegian railway. Its not as great as the one in York but still worth a visit.

Well I mean it. It's really cool inside... doesn't seem like it has heating of any kind... interesting to take a look though.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the museum. It's correct that it's not any heating during the winter apart from the entrance. Unfortunately that would be too expensive.

One of the really good things about this museum is that you can actually go inside almost all of the trams, buses and underground trains on display. If you have visited Oslo during the sixties, seventies, eighties or nineties you are sure to see something...More

A very nice museum that contains quite a lot of well conserved vehicles (tram, metro and bus). I would not hesitate to go back and would certainly recommend it to people interested in this! :D

Very cheap entry fee (40NOK) and very kind, welcoming staff. A small museum, all located in one large room (where the trams used to be stored whilst in use), and if you work your way around the transport is in chronological order, quite a nice...More
