Most of the pictures shown are not of Peer Gynt Sculpture Park. While the Peer Gynt park does have sculptures, it is basically a medium size playground amongst apartment buildings. Not worth a trip out of your way to go visit.

My wife and I stopped in Oslo, Norway on our way to Amsterdam from England. The number of sculptures and the story they told was almost unbelievable. It's amazing what some people can do. Highly worthwhile.

We visited on a snowy, freezing cold day, but still found many people there. The statues are beautiful and make this park unique. If you visit, do a little bit research before you go as there are no plaques explaining the meaning or history of...More

This park deserves a much higher rating! The sculptures range from the beautiful to the absolutely bizarre. We visited in spring and spent a good two hours roaming the grounds admiring (and sometimes laughing at!) the art on display. The park was full of families...More
