Amazing botanical garden. A huge range of plants and flowers from all over the world even though this garden is above the Arctic circle. A wonderful place to just wander through...even in the rain.

Interesting collection of plants from around the world which should be relevant to everyone. There is a nice café. It is walking distance from the city center.

Clearly more would be out later in the summer but there were still lots of plants to see at the start of May.

We visited on June 1 and were totally amazed by the huge number of arctic and Alpine species in bloom and the great care with which the gardens are designed and maintained.

The garden is slowly waking from it's winter slumber, and flowers can once again be seen amongst the paths and rock formations. A truly beautiful place. I recommend visiting at many different times of the year, if you have the chance, as there is always...More
