Certainly visit this church if you re in Hammerfest. It is a striking building which standards out in the town. Its angular architecture is very interesting. Internally it has some features which add to its appeal.

We walked to the church from the tourist information office as they were promoting a concert for passengers from our cruise ship. Unfortunately after waiting 15 minutes the concert did not happen. The church itself is nice, but more impressive on the outside and easy...More

Well worth the visit . Pulpit and Organ area very colourful . Very modern building great shapes . Glad we took trouble to find . Older church nearby on opposite side of road.

A spacious modern building at the top of the town. It is light and capacious with a peaceful atmosphere.

We visited just as a christening was finishing. The small square stained glass side Windows are beautiful and contemporary.

This was certainly worth a walk up the hill in the snow to this lovely little church the stained glass windows are beautiful I can recommend a visit we had a couple of hours to spend when on a Hurtigruten cruise

Not far at all. The church is up a short incline to the right of where Hurtigruten docks. It probably takes 5 to 10 minutes to walk there depending on your walking speed. As you come off the ship, tourist information is... More
