This is a beer hall run by Monks and believe me - it is the best beer I have tasted, which is from an experienced and well travelled person!! Definitely worth a visit and a stein (or 5!). No food served but a small area...More

We've been to the Augustiner beer garden in Munich, and this one in Salzburg. The Salzburg one has much the same atmosphere of good friends getting together to drink good beer and eat good food, under beautiful trees. Unfortunately, the beer is good but not...More

We have visited the Braustubl often. We try to visit Salzburg at least once each year and the Braustubl is a regular stop for beer, food and conversation. It has a local feel even with a large number of tourists. Enjoy the outdoor gardens when...More

We were a group of friends with families who visited the brewery. That was a unique experience for us. The best beer ever, within an unusual ambience. Great organization and service. A wonderful story and an unforgettable experience!

Best beer garden in real authentic atmosphere with unique way of getting your beers in the city with a great food selection. We liked it so much that returned next day after a city running session :)

Augustiner has an expansive beer garden shaded by beautiful old trees. The process of getting a beer is part of the experience at this place. You pay the cashier, who gives you a receipt. Then you take one of the hundreds or porcelain mugs off...More

We read that Augustiner is the largest beer garden in Salzburg, so we felt it was our obligation, as beer aficionados, to investigate. Turned out to be ridiculously crowded on the Saturday night in September that we visited, to the point that it definitely affected...More

We love Augustiner beer and can only snag a few bottles in the states. Great beer garden and loved the process to get a beer - pay, grab a mug, rinse it, get it filled with some delicious beer and head out to the beautiful...More

This place was a lot of fun! I wouldn't say the food is fantastic, but the food court-style set-up makes it easy to try a little bit of everything. My sister and I had a couple beers, schnitzel, spinach dumplings, and a big hunk of...More

We were accommodated punctually in a nice room. The service was fast and the food is so delicious. The beer is very good so as the chocolate cake. The salad was so fresh. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
