Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely place to wander about on Fabrica Hill. It is a bit of a climb, but well worth it. These rock cut tombs are enormous man-made underground caverns cut out of the rock over 2,000 years ago, and still containing some faded fragmentary frescoes.

Adjacent are the remains of a classical theatre in the process of being excavated.

Wear good shoes, take water, enjoy the archaeology and wildlife in this unspoilt spot.

Fabrika Hill is a great place to spend a couple of hours. It is a bit of a climb up but there is plenty to see - the Agios Lambrianos rock cut tombs are the main attraction but they are right next to an ancient theatre and there is also a large pebble mosaic which is worth a look, as are the views from the hill.

The tombs themselves are completely stripped out but the scale of the rock cut chambers is very impressive and it is worth climbing down and wandering through the chambers.

The site is open and free of charge (as at June 2018 when I visited). There is little sign posting and no facilities, and parking is on the road. It is only a short way from the harbour and the bigger archaeological sites though.

on this site. Amazing rock cut structures and huge chambers too. Must confess we did not see many Tombs but maybe we did not know what to look out for as there were no signs.
