The castle is fairly easy to get to on public transport via train from Luxembourg and a short bus journey. Approx 1 hour 30. There are beautiful views both outside and from the castle itself. The castle is heaped in history. There isn’t much information,...More

This is the most beautifully renovated chateau I have ever seen. With a history of more than 1600 years the chateau restored in the 1980s is well laid out to visit with good exhibits beautiful rooms and great views over the river our and Vianden

Very picturesque. We did not go inside. From afar it looks great. It's nestled amongst thick green forests on a hill, making a stunning picture. Best views are from the chairlift that's opposite.

Lovely town with a lovely castle on top of it. It’s worth it to spend one day visiting the town and its castle. The visit takes about 2h-3h

There is a bus which takes you in to town, there is a short uphill walk to the castle, it’s worth the effort.
