Good viewpoint but not much else unfortunately. Upper Barrakka Gardens are much more appealing so head there instead.

Wonderful spot for photographers, with great views across the Grand Harbour. Small garden with some shelter, and a catering wagon nearby for light refreshments, cash only.

This gives another great view of the Mediterranean and the Grand Harbour. We had some beer and wine at the local stand which led to us having a nice break in our day!

From the Port, the Upper Barrakka Gardens Lift is around 500 metres. This lift goes up to Valletta City Centre, saving heaps of time.
