I was more interested in the gardens around here, and a nice cafe nearby for a cold beer or a coffee. But the statue is unusual, and as a cat lover, I'm pleased to see something feline on display.

It is big and ugly, but became part of the scene, it is not worth to come and see just the statue, but there is a nice park right where the cat is for little kids.

Lovely colourful statue, people come here to look after stray cats and it is good to know locals are doing just that. Made me smile every time I walked past.

It is hidden and one have to look out for it towards the end of the walkway on the Sliema beachfront, but well worth a visit for a beautiful photo, especially with a rising or setting sun as background.

There are alot of stray cats in Malta and its nice that there is a place dedicated to them. People often leave food and water there for them. Its basically a big cat statue. But dedicated to the cats of Malta.
