If Marsaxlokk is a "pretty fishing village" then Paris is a French hamlet with nice riverside views and London a quaint Olde English community of maypole-loving clog dancers. In other words: whatever Marsaxlokk once was, it certainly ain't now, and one seriously has to wonder...More

Wonderful market but very crowded and close to people walking! Bus stop back to Valletta very packed and this is a perfect recipe for theft! My husband and three others had no wallet when getting off the direct bus back to Valletta! You must cancel...More

Lovely seafront restaurants all serving a fish of the day at a reasonable price. Also there is a little market selling crafted table cloths etc... Worth a look and good bargain to have.

Basically there are lots of the blue/green stripped small boats bobbing on the bay but it is a working fishing village so there are lots of other boats. We arrived in the morning so there were not too many people around. Judging by the number...More

Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Good for a few quick photos, not sure about the market and the restaurants because it was so crowded and hard to find parking. All in all pretty photogenic and worth fighting through the traffic for a brief stop.

Quaint fishing village with an outdoor market selling souvenirs. Worth stopping for a morning walk through but the bay water was littered with plastic bottles and had a visible layer of oil so we avoided eating the fish served in nearby restaurants due to its...More

We had a terrible experience, we ate bad food, we had arguments with locals after telling them that we do not have a cigarettes to offer them and there is nothing to do there. We spent an hour trip to see only boats. Kind advice:...More
