We took the bus from Valletta, but were kind of disappointed by the harbour itself. The water is very filthy and the view is obstructed by the power plant. Would not recommend this.

Not like the pictures! We were really looking forward to it .We went during the week, trying to miss the crowds but wasn't really impressed. The water was filthy filled with trash and plastic.

I have never seen so many poly bags, bits of fishing net and other bits of detritus floating in a bay, it's an environmental disaster. There's not a very pretty view either. Malta is not a clean place.
