The Blue Lagoon conjures up so many images. It is truly a stunning sight to see with beautiful colours and shades of blue. A visit is a must when visiting Malta. The ferry is a short ride from Malta, so is easy to visit. The...More

It was a nice boat trip, beautiful, especially the caves, but once you arrive at the Blue Lagoon, you get overwhelmed by the crowd. Every little inch is covered and a lot of noise. You've got to visit it but for 1 time. About the...More

Like everyone said the water is amazing, very clear but you can’t relax in this place. It’s too overcrowded, even when you get your own chair and umbrella (€10 each) you will have people almost stepping on you. If you don’t mind very touristy places...More

Never book any of the numerous tours offering to take you to Blue lagoon. You only need to take a regular bus towards the ferry departures and then pay the 10 euros ticket for the boat right there. The views from the boat are nice...More

Overrated, this place is like a zoo. Granted the water was a lovely shade of blue, but it is overcrowded, very little places to sit - renting a deckchair and umbrella cost €30. These are perched on the pathway from the ferry landing. Not comfortable...More

The Blue Lagoon (Comino, Malta) is easily the most beautiful place you’ll find in Malta, water is literally blue, clean and clear. The beach is not made of sand but rocks which makes it a little difficult, also it was over crowded when we went...More

The Blue Lagoon itself is beautiful, but so overcrowded. We spent about 10 minutes there and decided to take the hike to St. Nicholas Bay (which is in fact just a 10 minute walk, just follow the path next to the toilets uphill), a less-crowded...More

Well yes, it is overcrowded but it is simply amazing. The most beautiful places are always crowded so no surprise here. If you prepare beforehand that you won't be alone there, it should be ok. We took a ferry (actually it was a boat) that...More
