We stopped here to kill time before our ferry. The bartenders were very fun and helpful in both beer selection and chatting about local customs and history. Relaxing way to spend an hour or so during a rainy day.

The imperial stout is fantastic. For my non-beer drinking wife, the bartender made a Hendricks and tonic, garnished with a perfectly cut cucumber and black pepper. Good attention to detail for a brewery. And, if I forgot to mention it, the imperial stout is fantastic!

FYI: I tried to get ferry tickets online a few days in advance, and was told I could get there but not get back. So we stopped by the ferry office and they had plenty of spaces. You do not need to take your car, the island... More
