After enjoying the open air museums in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, and just outside Copenhagen and Tallinn, all of which are excellent, we were extremely disappointed with Reykjavík’s contribution. Not much of interest to see.

I realy like this openair museum it gives you a feel how life was back in the days. The gudes are dresse in old cloth and give you a great inside about life back then.

Yes, you can do the entire thing yourself, we took a bus there and walked around with the kids. Had a great time and even eavesdropped a bit on some of the other tours that were there. No one seemed to mind!
