This little underground museum showed us relevant and interesting parts of local history. The story of Matti was fun to follow and we also enjoyed the interactive parts. The art part was poor and felt very unrelated.

Three main floors. Nice cafe, terrace and museum shop in airy lobby area. Interesting underground cellars with medieval and old Turku city history theme. I recommend to visit. Tasty brunch during weekends at 11-15 o'clock.

Was very interesting to see the relics of the past here. The homes as they existed 100s of years ago was insightful. Also learned how many times this town burned to the ground before they started building with stone instead of wood.

I love museums and art. But you will not miss anything if you miss this experience here. The rest of Europe has much better art collection.

As this museum is built on top of old excavated ruins, you get to experience history in a unique way. There are several things to touch and interact with. and the whole place is very kid friendly. Highly recommended.

A most interesting museum; you can both look at modern art and in the same building have a look at the ancient history of Turku!
