Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you go to Turku during the summer and the weather is good, definetely rent a boat. They don't go fast but it was a great way to spend an hour with friends.

Good experience and suitable for small children also. Rental starts near Library and Cathedral. Price 59 eur for one hour. Friendly and attentive service and user quidance. I recommend inspite of light and quite delicate steering feel, so learn the boat, it's easy and drive safe.

If only the boat wasn't broken. The electric boat went off about 12 times during our 1 hour cruise. We didn't feel good drifting in the middle of the river Aura. When the electricity goes off you aren't able to navigate the boat so we were afraid we would crash to other boats and one time almost did. We tried to call the rent kiosk but they just adviced us that we should just manage with the boat and try to start it again when it goes off. Well, that is what we did several times. The most ridicule thing was that when we came back from the trip the personnel said that this had happened to her also many times yesterday but that there is no use to try to fix the boat because they don't do much in the maintenance!? We paid the full price and didn't get any refund. It wasn't even suggested. Our group was very disappointed with låna båt rental. No one should get a malfunctioning boat to their trip, please fix your boats!

It couldn't have been easier - from the booking process (online), to collecting our boat and returning it. It definitely helped that the weather had cleared into a gorgeous summer day. Even if there is rain, the canopy is quite protective. We went as far as you can get down the river and back and two hours was perfect amount of time for that. Pack a picnic basket (or grab something from the old market hall) and you are set.
For those worried about safety, life jackets are close by and the crew make sure you are comfortable with the equipment before setting out.
Best way to enjoy the River Aura :)

Excellent way of enjoying river Aura. You can find the boats near the church. Service is good, all you need to know is explained well. Handling of the boat does not require any previous experience - just some common sense. And you can take your own picnic basket with you!

Take min 2hours and book in advance (online)!

Booking a Lana boat is easy and quick. The boats are strong, well made and have enough power to navigate the canal. Great views from these very easy boat to handle. Loved it! Grab some food, drink and friends and head out.
