I have never seen anything like this. Interesting stone formations and archeological remnants. The guide spoke both Italian and English. The path was a bit slippery, good shoes are advised.

Some of the most stunningly beautiful caves I've ever visited. Beautiful limestone formations, well lit. Informative website with great photos - don't bother taking your own. The guide gabbled in Italian only, and that was disjointed enough to confuse even my Italian wife, never mind...More

Absolutely great place to visit! We visited these caves without any preinformation and therefore did not have sport shoes or jackets, only sandals, t-shirts and shorts. I was wondering if we manage as the guided tour (no options) takes an hour and it is about...More

This visit takes you through two cave complexes, with beautiful geological formations. Infrastructure is very good and guides do speak English (be sure to ask them to also give explanations in English, since they are more used to Italian visitors). Also remember to take a...More

This was a spectacular two hour guided tour of a cave system occupied in pre history by 3metre size bears and humans. The stalactites and stalagmites are colourful and spellbinding. The ambient temperature in the caves was a pleasant 16 degrees centigrade. There were steep...More

This outing was an opportunity to visit a "natural museum," without the crowds we experienced in Rome and Florence. The grotto formations were spectacular, and if you are in or near Toirano, it's well worth a visit.
