Hardly silent at rush hour when tourist scuffle around. However the smell of mostly wood and sometimes incense can be quite pleasant. When it's the right day and less tourist are around, one can actually feel at ease and retreat in silence.

Interesting way to get away from the everyday noises of life. It's simplistic and beautiful. Worth a quick stop!

Nice opportunity to sit down reflect and think 👍. Every city should have a central place like this. You do not realise its energy providing effect before having given yourself the opportunity of a visit.

Interesting chapel, right next to a busy trading market when we were there. Free entry and very quiet inside.

This chapel is a lovely space, impressively designed, in the centre of Helsinki. A good spot to rest.

This chapel is located next a very busy shopping mall and transportation hub. The contrast between what’s happening right outside versus the beautiful, quiet, calm interior is really wonderful. I’m an architect and for me this chapel is the best that architecture can be; simple,...More
