I have mixed feelings about this museum. In general, it's a good and solid museum dedicated to a great man. The museum quite simple but is does give a good understanding of the life style and life path of Gustaf Mannerheim. The exhibition, which was...More

This is the home of an historically important person. The museum only allows guests that accompany a guide. The guides take many tours per hour so don’t hesitate to go here. Just be prepared to wait a little bit. There is one rather undfriendly, not...More

Before traveling to Finland, I read a biography of Mannerheim, so was fascinated to see where he lived and to hear more about him. The English tour guide was excellent, and stayed after the tour to answer a lot of our questions

As Mikko said, about 10 mins from the terminal. I clearly walk slower than he does :) It is uphill. Take your map, there is no significant signposting!
