The museum has a nice collection but I was mostly surprised how well the museum uses every available option to make a visit for children a sheer joy. Rarely have I seen a museum this educational, absolutely perfect.

They share different artist's exhibition for a certain period which makes more interesting to visit them often. Its free of cost!

This is great place to get a background on how Västerås became what it is today. Very child friendly with lots of hidey holes and doors to open.
