About
David´s Stockholm Tours provides many guided tours: historical walking tours, bike tours, evening tours to experience the city far from the daytime rush or nature tours in the many stunning parks of the capital. David´s Stockholm Tours concept is pretty simple: give customers the chance to truly experience the city, its history as well as its everyday life! Davide Borghi, an experienced tour guide, trekking and bike guide, art historian and cook runs the company with passion. "I have guided over the years; cycling, nature, food, art, history, fashion and design and even nightlife culture. I have never considered my tours ”niche” experiences, just for the few, but rather I have tried to create tours which have universal appeal and cover a broad spectrum of interests and activities. And all are encouraged to contribute and share inspiration and ideas as we explore this great capital city."

Excellent way to see the "other" side of Stockholm. By this, I mean walking/seeing the path less traveled by he tourists. David was very accommodating with his areas to be seen. The after-tour drink was fantastic and was aboard a ship in the harbor. You can't go wrong with David on the "Stockholm Evening Walking Tour with a Drink" tour.

I had researched different bike tours for my trip to Stockholm and was very pleased with what David offered. He had called to ask if we could start earlier in the evening and we had the time so we said yes. He picked us up from where we were eating dinner to get us to the bike's on time. He was very informative about the city and really laid back and casual. I would say you have to be in decent shape and familiar with riding a bike to go on this tour through the city. He stopped several places and explained what things were and was very funny and jovial. He often asked how everyone was doing and making sure we could ride up or down certain hills and on tricky terrain. I would highly recommend his tour while in Stockholm!

We had originally booked a 3 hour, afternoon bike tour but it started pouring the minute we got on the bikes. David was nimble and offered us a chauffeured alternative tour around Stockholm and it did not disappoint! He drove us around town stopping at strategic views so we could take pictures and explaining the history and culture of the various sites. We capped it off with an instructive tour around the Vasa Museum. David was so knowledgeable that other visitors tried to eavesdrop and tag along. It was fun driving around Stockholm Italian style!

We had such a great time with David, we did the sunset bike tour a couple of days later. While the second tour took us to a few of the same highlights as the first, we were happy that he took us to some different sites, and the whole thing was perfectly timed to arrive at each place at the perfect time for extraordinary pictures. The course was challenging at one point, but definitely manageable for our teens. David was knowledgeable and entertaining which was great since we had him twice. Interestingly, the sunset tour was the only activity we did during our trip to Stockholm where we were the only Americans. We highly recommend him!

Booked online, called the day before to re-confirm time and place again.
All was well until I turned up at 7.26 pm for the 7.30 PM bike tour.......the tour had apparently left already without me!!
Was really surprised to see a 'booked & confirmed' tour leave earlier than the scheduled time without one of the attendees. Called david several times on his cell, but I guess he was biking already.....so no bike tour for me :(((
Bike Sweden (not directly affiliated with David supposedly) was nice enough to refund me the money next day......but was really disappointed with the bizarre turn of events.

My grandson and I were on a bicycle trip on August 04, 2016 under the guidance of David.
It was a great experience for me and my grandson aged 12.5.
David, who is familiar with Stockholm Excellent, took along interesting routes and the fascinating explanations given enriched us very much.
This bike trip was delightful and added much enjoyment to our trip to beautiful Stockholm.
Highly recommended!

We are just back from a visit to Stockholm. We are happy that we did an excursion with David. He is a super guide. We asked to be shown interesting, but less well know sites in Stockholm. He organized an extraordinary day for us taking us to wonderful places we would have never visited without him. He is charming, intelligent, and witty. His insight into both Stockholm and the Swedes is amazing. And, he conveys a wealth of information with a lightness of touch that is simply outstanding. If you are ever in Stockholm David is the guide to have.

We walked around Stockholm and over to Gamla Stan with David. HIs knowledge was excellent and we really enjoyed his relaxed style. He tailored the tour to our needs so that we did not go to places we had already seen. We enjoyed being able to ask questions about current Stockholm life as well as the history. He gave us some great suggestions for things we wanted to do in the rest of our time in Stockholm and gave us some great restaurant ideas. A tour well worth doing and really enjoyable!

We called David to schedule a tour that same night and he was able to accommodate our group of 3. He was very friendly and answered all our questions along the tour. The tour itself is incredible, with spectacular views of the city and the sunset from the island of Södermalm. We all absolutely loved the tour - this is a must-do if you are visiting Stockholm!

We only had a limited time in port, about 5 hours, to see Stockholm. Davide provided an absolutely superb small group (8 people) tour from our cruise ship when we were docked in (Frihamn) Stockholm on June 1. Davide is not a native of Sweden, but is well-versed in its history and culture. I believe he rented a van to give us our tour, which was booked through Tours by Locals. I'd suggest booking directly through Davide if possible.

Our tour began with a brief stop at the Royal Dramatic Theater, where we saw (and felt!) the heated sculpture of Margaretha Krook, a well-known Swedish actress. We proceeded to a canal in front of the parliament building, where Davide explained how people can catch unlimited salmon and trout in the canals...without a fishing license. We also visited the outside of the Royal Palace (and chapel), where we were fortunate to see horses and carriages emerging. We continued with a walk through Gamla Stan, stopping to see the miniature Iron Boy sculpture (Jarnpojke), then walking through the narrow cobbled streets...including Marten Trotzics Grand (the narrowest alley, from the 1500s). Davide took us to several nice viewpoints before continuing to show us a Swedish "allotment garden" (I think is was Eriksdalslundens) enroute to Drottningholm Palace, our final stop before visiting the Vasa Museum. We didn't have much time there, but it was time well spent. Davide was well-versed on the history of the amazing ship on display there.

What an incredible day! As with all private tours from cruise ships, a major concern is returning to the ship well ahead of the posted departure time. Despite the packed tour, this was accomplished with time to spare. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this was an exceptional tour and we experienced things I doubt others did.

Davide gave our family a wonderful private walking tour of Stockholm. He was friendly, flexible and informed. He met us at our hotel and was on time. He helped us plan a tour based on our interests and also helped us plan what we would do after our tour for the rest of our visit. We would highly recommend Davide!
