Went on the free city tour with Adi. She was funny, knowledgeable, flexible and interesting. A great way to get an orientation of the city for first timers. A very well spent 2 hours for sure.

It was really a great tour with our guide, Adelina, who explain us the things to know about swedish people (how about lagom, not bragging, the stockholm blood bath, the stockholm syndrom, the royal family, Raoul Wallenberg memorial...) 2 hours you won't regret !!!

There are at least two different companies offering free walking tours in Stockholm. Since we were staying in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's Old Town, we chose the one that begins its tours at the Gamla Stan metro. Whichever company you go with, be sure to wear...More

It was a good, simple tour. There was a bit too much standing around for my taste, especially because we stuck around at the old part a lot (for the city tour we took). But Albena was a great and funny guide and really made...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

Right outside the Gamlastan metro station. Both the city and old town tours start from there. They offer AM and PM tours.
