A small fee enable us to visit this gem. A guide made sure you used only cushions for praying and not for sitting. Lots of artefacts with history to keep your there for about 30 minutes.

The church stands tall and high over other buildings in Gamla Stan. Was built to cater to the German community who exists in Stockholm. Look see, admire and be inspired to enter the church. Stay calm and peaceful.

try to catch an organ rehearsal or concert in this beautiful church - we did and it was very impressive and worth the time. Even if not visiting for the music, well worth stopping in to see baroque decoration

This Lutheran Church was well worth a short visit. While not as spectacular as many European churches, I especially liked its interesting and ornate Royal Box

This small church was founded in the 14th century and is lavishly decorated. It has an interesting history involving the election of Kings and has an unusual feature of an enclosed royal box.

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
