My partner lives in a little side-street just off-Nyhavn, so I've seen rather a lot of it in the last two years. Very pretty, if usually rather overcrowded - personally I prefer it at nights. It's much less crowded, and the lights make for a...More

It looks quite nice, but it is a relatively small area, so you don't need that long to see all of it. It's worth a short visit but it is overcrowded, so not that idyllic. And there is no chance to make a picture without...More

This area is pretty, to be sure, but a bit crowded, and not nice enough to merit spending much time here. There are a few nice outdoor cafes, but there's really not enough space or a view to merit sitting and hanging around here for...More

Nice street along the canal. Boat tours go to the bottom and you can jump on with a hop on and off bus and boat ticket. Lots of shops further in. Extremely busy.

No visit to Copenhagen would be complete without a visit to this colourful and vibrant area. There are several cafes and a canal tour can be taken from this iconic location.

make sure you have plenty of time when you visit this place. The buildings talk to you and soon you run out of time. The cafes by the side treat you with fabulous sea food. This is one of the places where you can sit...More

Nyhavn, would now be concidered an old harbour. It is quite touristic, but anyway, it is nice to go there and have a drink and take some pictures. It is easy to integrate this spot in a walking tour, especcially if you want to see...More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
