It's a sweet little sculpture in a lovely park. If you enjoyed reading Andersen's stories, the sculptures around town will bring back many good memories.But this is not the same kind of must-see as Michelangelo's statue of David

I can't say I was very impressed by the boat it's self. It's a cute detail if you want to follow in H.C. Andersen's footsteps, or if you just discover it while going on a walk, but not worth visiting it alone.
The paperboat shouldn't be a visited as a one off attraction. Suggest that you follow the Hans Christian Anderson's footsteps. These takes you to all the important places associated with him. The paperboat is in a beautiful park overlooking the church.
