For being nearly 550 years old, the work done to keep this place functioning, they've done a great job. Downside? Screaming kids in the place.

My wife and I are of a different religion, but this is a beautiful house of worship. They were getting ready for a 12 noon organ concert so I suppose the organist was practicing and it was emotional walking around the church. Very worthwhile to...More

Coming from Italy, one might say that this cathedral wouldn't carry you away. But it is really astonishing. The wooden carved guilded altar is really something to see!! In the crypt you can take a look at St. Knuds and his brother's bones, both killed...More

Centrally located, a visit to this church is worth for the history and architecture. Especially light and airy inside.

If you like churches it's quite nice. The entrance is free like most other churches. So it's worth a look if you're in the area.

It's a nice church, made some nice pictures there, if you're in Odense it's worth to take a look. When we went in we were the only people in there and it was nice to see catacombs of some Danish kings. I don't know exactly...More

Entering the church was made especially nice, since it was warmer than outside. I'm not religious, yet there was a comfortable feeling, despite the violence that originated the dedication for the church. I was happy to give a donation since it helps to maintain this...More

Old and with two skeletons in the crypt. The decor or size won't awe you but the story will. Plenty of info inside. Only worth seeing if you're in Odense. On the level of Aalborg and Elsinore this is one of the least interesting cathedrals...More
