The bridge is the center of the town and the point of meeting for youngsters. The city of Trikala is famous for it's bridges. You can go under the bridge (tiil one point) and take a stroll along the river.

Visited Trikala as I had made the huge mistake to book two nights in a Kalambaka hotel (there is nothing worth seeing in that town except the nearby monasteries which take only one day) so was desperately looking for something to do. This is a...More

We went there with our 2 years old boy. We enjoyed watching fishes in the river, ducks on the riverside and hear the relaxing sound of the water. It's a clean place and it is worth taking a photo there.

An old bridge located on the center of the city (it leads at the main city square). Not a great span but a great spot to watch Lithaios River go by under you and a fantastic spot to see people go about their daily chores....More

Nothing too impressive here. Has a statue with scriptures but only in Greek. Has a run-off fountain that drains into the river below which can be turned on or offm I went during daytime so I don't know if it lights up or not

This is a lovely old bridge in the centre of the town and there is a good explanation of its history. You can get good photos at night as it is nicely illuminated and in the day as it is pedestrianised.

I visited the city of Trikala on march 16th. It's the only city in Greece with a river and it's really amazing with all the small bridges over Lithaios river. Nice city, very clean and very friendly people.

Nice place, a part of your walk around the center of the small town. It is praiseworthy effort of the municipality to make a small river Litheos deep within the city.

Probably the most photographed place in Trikala. Always busy and crowded. Beautiful at night. You cannot miss it!
