Interesting modern statue, a tribute to the Thessaly horse, famous in antique times. It's located in city center so very easy to reach. It worth a walk.

Bucephalus is a testament to Greek history, but also, Thessaly's and specifically, Larisa's history. Larisa and the around areas were known about the horses they had and cared for.

Unfortunately it looks like the statue is starting to fall to pieces.Which is a shame for such a famous horse.I have put a screensaver to show where it is.It is below the large church on a small grassy area.

Horsey monument that is located by the side of the road for both people walking pass and motorists to see. Made out of eroding metal that seems to have been welled together

It is a modern statue. It is a place to begin a walk at river Pinios until to arrive at the next footbridge.
