Great hidden gem of a museum. After watching great short videos you get to see the item shown on screen. We were able to get a better understanding of the art of silversmiths. Happily surprised.

This museum is brilliantly laid out and explanations of exhibits and their meaning clear and deeply informative. In Epirus you transcend many epochs. This museum brings to life one of the most fascinating. The oracle papers were a thrilling find. Admission is free on Fridays.

Excellent museum of archeological discoveries in the Ioannina area over time. Don't miss the videos about and artifacts from Dodana and visit that site too.

It's a great history lesson. Not only for history lovers but for everyone - just to learn a lot about ancient cultures. I also lucky to be a bigger group with a great guide (with great knowledge)
