The castle area was very peaceful at that time of the year. There is a lot of history and all the buildings are interesting.

The historical importance of this Mosque is intriguing and it is worth a quick visit when in the area. The views across the lake from here are beautiful.

The Mosque is situated inside the castle grounds. This is the only building that is intact. The castle is mainly in ruins.

Named by Ali Pasha as the Conquest Mosque, architecture of the mosque is unique however not much information is provided in English compared to Greek.
